After downloading a blank project, the first step of setup is adding resources. These are the items which are going to form the available data entry such as vessels, companies, crew members, fuel types and equipment.
Each configuration is based on a template specific to the project type such as cable laying or surveying. The configuration will specify the equipment on each vessel, and the key project parameters. Multiple configurations can be defined and logged against for tracking and reporting purposes.
The final step of setup is adding the routes or preplots to your project. All common formats such as shapefile or P1 are supported. The routes are used to calculate the project’s operational totals, but manual totals can also be entered.
Timing can be logged against each main vessel. Main categories such as mobilisation, acquisition and down time, are divided into subcategories fully customisable by your company admin.
Comments are based on templates, so they can include default text, and be automatically added to the correct location in any number of reports.
Log the status and progress of your operations, whether you are completing a survey, performing operations along a cable route or performing inspections/construction at a series of locations.
Add embarkation and disembarkation events to track crew numbers, crew hours and persons on board list.
Add HSE events using categories customisable by your company admin.
Add fuel bunkering events, and daily usage. This data is combined with fuel emission factors to track your emission statistics for the major gas pollutants.
Monitor and report on important resources like ROVs or inspection teams separately to your vessel's 24h timing.
Monitor progress of your operations using complete/incomplete/partial incomplete statuses, and also breakdowns by sub production types.
